Who is Eligible?

Eligible applicants include:5

  • Fire departments (career, volunteer, and combination)
  • Non affiliated EMS organizations
  • State Fire Training Academies (for training grants)

 

To design for a vehicle exhaust extraction system, please provide:

  • Fire hall/apparatus bay dimensions (length, width, height), number of bays and garage door sizes
  • Garage door type (roll-up or bi-fold), vehicle/apparatus types and parking layout
  • Tailpipe location and size, undercarriage or vertical stack exhaust
  • Single or dual exhaust outlets, distance from tailpipe to garage door
  • Available electrical voltage in the bay, floor plan or photos of the apparatus bay (preferred)
